It appears Allen will gain a second Salad and Go location. According to a recent project filing, the new quick-serve salad and wrap option will open in new construction at 1205 Alma Dr. in Allen.
Construction on the space at nearly 900-square-feet could wrap up in late 2023, but there is no word on when this Salad and Go will open to the public. The healthy, quick-serve restaurant has been popping up across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in recent months. The first Allen location at 2021 W McDermott Dr. opened in late 2022.
The mission of Salad and Go is to “make fresh, nutritious food affordable and convenient for ALL.” These inexpensive healthy meals options include salads such as Cobb, Buffalo Chicken, and Thai. Any salad can also be made into a to-go wrap.
The Salad and Go menu offers other options such as a variety of breakfast burritos, soups, and house-made drinks with fresh ingredients and no added preservatives.
