People travel from far and wide to try Moshe’s Falafel at 94 W 46th St or at its food truck at the Garment District Plaza. When customers finally get their hands on this famous falafel after a long cab ride, walk or train trip, they sometimes ask when Moshe’s Falafel is coming to them.

While Moshe’s Falafel actually started as a mobile business, with the namesake owner manning a food cart starting in 1981, it is hard for any business to reach people in every corner of the city. For those Upper West Siders who have been asking for Moshe’s to come to their neighborhood, the wait is almost over.

ILovetheUpperWestSide.com reported that Moshe’s Falafel is in the works for 142 West 83rd Street.

What Now NY was in touch with Moshe’s Falafel’s manager, David to confirm.

He shared that the establishment plans to open the second week of June, if not earlier.

According to West Side Rag, this new location will be closed on Saturdays. While the menu will be mostly identical to Moshe’s Falafel other locations, there might be a few new items exclusive to this stop.

Menu items at Moshe’s Falafel offers kosher and vegetarian foods including falafel, hummus, couscous and salads.

More details to come about the new location, but in the meantime check out Moshe’s Falafel’s Instagram page for updates.
