RemyMidtown LLC has filed paperwork for a new bar-lounge-tavern concept at 35 E 13th St.
Pan-Liong Henriquez and Laurence Batiz are bringing the yet-to-be-named concept to life, according to the paperwork. Henriquez has experience working as a chef in the food and beverage industry.
The spot is slated to occupy 5,400 square feet of a three-story commercial building at the address. It will occupy the second and third floors, as well as the rooftop area.
There are plans for three stand-up bars. One bar will have ten seats, while the remaining bars will have no seats. Plans also include multiple TVs on each floor, and potential for live music, according to the filed paperwork. The space will also offer private events.
The menu filed with the paperwork appears to offer small plates such as classic shrimp cocktails, crispy calamari, empanadas, sliders, quesadillas, charcuterie boards and lobster rolls. It is expected to have a full beverage program, as well.
As of now, the timeline for opening is unclear.
What Now New York has reached out to the ownership team for more information on the concept. Stay tuned for updates.
