According to a recently submitted permit application, the restaurateurs behind Palm City Wines are planning to debut a new bar concept in Lower Haight.

Coming to 698 Haight Street, Bar Jabroni — as referred to on the filing — will land near establishments such as Danny Coyle’s, Otra, and Palmyra.

What Now San Francisco reached out to co-owners Dennis Cantwell and Monica Wong to inquire about the drinkery, but they could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, a recent job listing describes Bar Jabroni as an “upscale casual wine bar” and discloses that it will offer Californian cuisine.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Palm City Wines, the concept is known as a “relaxed, understated wine bar offering wines and craft beers, plus sandwiches and snacks” — including a roast pork hoagie, shrimp salad, and meatloaf.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
