According to Silicon Valley Business Journal, Bacchus Management Group plans to debut a new concept, Augustine, in San Jose.
Coming to Suite 1000 at Santana Row, the upcoming eatery will mark the restaurant group’s second concept at the location, joining Pizza Antica at Suite 1065, and landing near eateries such as Dumpling Time, Maggiano’s, Peet’s Coffee, and Yard House.
“In total, the restaurant is about 8,000 square feet with roughly 3,000 square feet of patio space… In addition to the patio space, Augustine will include a cocktail lounge; a large, u-shaped bar; two dining rooms, one of which can turn into a private dining area; a reservation-only cocktail lounge and a cafe with coffee, pastries, sandwiches and salads,” the Journal reports.
In addition to Pizza Antica, Bacchus Management Group — a restaurant and hospitality management and consulting group founded in 2001 by Tim Stannard, Andrew Green, Mark Sullivan, and Brannin Beal — “oversees and manages” multiple Michelin-starred restaurants in the Bay Area, such as Spruce, The Village Pub, Selby’s, and The Village Bakery.
Augustine is slated to open before the end of the year. Stay tuned for updates.
