Yummy dessert options are coming to Fountain Valley with the arrival of The Creative Ice Company. The shaved ice catering brand will be opening a brick-and-mortar store at 10537 Slater Ave., according to county records.

The business, which is well-loved in the community for its mobile shaved ice truck, will now also have a storefront for patrons with a sweet tooth to stop by. It’s in the Green Valley neighborhood in a commercial strip center.

The Creative Ice Company will share its space with another business owned by the same family: Family Glue Shop. Together, the businesses will “provide a fun and creative environment where families can come together to enjoy our tasty treats, create memories, and bond over crafting activities.”

Multiple plans were submitted to the Orange County Health Care Agency’s Environmental Health Division in 2023, and they were finally approved in mid-November, giving the company the authority to construct.
