Fort Lauderdale will soon be home to a new dance attraction. Dance Pluss, opening on the southwest corner of the intersection between Davie Boulevard and Southwest 32nd Avenue, will offer weekly dance contests, live entertainment, party rooms, an arcade, food, and more.
“We have a lot of different attractions,” co-owner Quintina Smith told What Now in a Thursday morning phone call. “We have a studio room if you want to take lessons, or if you want to have a private dance party. Or your kids can just come for the arcade. Then we have a live entertainment area specializing in dance competitions and showcases, and everything dance.”
Food will also be on offer at Dance Pluss, with a menu featuring wings, pizza, quesadillas, Philly cheesesteaks, and finger foods like hot dogs, burgers, fries, shrimp, and more.
Dance Pluss will offer entertainment for both children and adults, offering an arcade with retro-style games, where Smith says kids can hang out while their parents catch a live performance.
Dance Pluss will be open Thursdays from 5 to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 12 to 11 p.m., and Sundays from 12 to 7 p.m.
