Upcoming Cooper City development The Shoppes at Monterra Commons is the future home of South Florida’s next Culver’s location. The Wisconsin-born burger chain’s southernmost location will be launched by established Culver’s franchisee Baron Waller in late spring/early summer.
“We’re looking forward to bringing Wisconsin-style service and food to South Florida,” Waller told What Now on Tuesday.
Waller has three Culver’s franchises in Chicago, plus three elsewhere, including one already open in South Florida. He will be launching the Cooper City location in partnership with longtime Culver’s employee Ernesto Limon.
Culver’s branded Butterburgers come in varieties like the Bacon Deluxe, “with layers of real Wisconsin cheese and crisp bacon,” and the Culver’s Deluxe, with Wisconsin cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion, and Culver’s signature mayo. The menu also features chicken sandwiches and tenders, plus seafood sandwiches and dinners like the Butterfly Jumbo Shrimp Dinner and the North Atlantic Cod Dinner.
Culver’s Frozen Custard comes in the form of sundaes like the Banana Split and the Turtle Sundae; shakes, in flavors like Chocolate Malt, Mint, Peanut Butter, and Salted Caramel; and Concrete Mixers.
“We’re really excited to be in Cooper City,” Waller said. “We’re hoping to open in May.”
