Carbòn Mexican Kitchen is coming to The Shops at Gainey Village in Scottsdale, according to City Sun Times.
Located at 7704 E Doubletree Ranch Road, the new restaurant has leased a 2,590 square foot space. They will be open for casual Mexican fair with a 100-seat open-fire concept – featuring wood-fire ribeye, chicken, pork, and shrimp.
Owned by Danny Quinn, the restaurateur is also behind Pubblico Italian Eateries in Scottsdale and Phoenix, as well as Rockefeller’s Seafood Concepts in McCormick Ranch – part of Friends & Family Concepts.
The F&F website shares the following: “F+F Concepts is an independent hospitality group based in Phoenix, Arizona. Owner and founder, Danny Quinn, met Head Chef Danny Garcia while managing and operating Italian restaurant Cucina Cucina. Struck by Garcia’s talent, the dream was planted in Quinn’s mind to open a restaurant where Garcia could have full creative control. A few years later, Pubblico Italian Eatery was born. Several years after that, Rockefeller, its sophisticated, cocktail, and seafood-centric younger sibling came along. The restaurants may vary, but the priorities remain the same: delicious fare, expertly crafted cocktails, skillfully curated wine lists, and vibrant but laid back ambiances. F+F is a playful nod to Quinn’s early hires who helped get his first restaurant off the ground – his friends and family.”
The new venture is currently set to open in February 2024.
