Astoria-based Somedays Bakery recently shared that it will be heading to a second location in Long Island City. However, co-founder Peter Phillips revealed to What Now New York that there are more locations in the pipeline.
The neighborhood bakery brand is currently in negotiations for three new locations in Brooklyn and one in Manhattan. The Parisian-style cafe also has sites under construction in Bay Terrace Shopping Center — which is slated to open in March — and in Montclair, New Jersey.
“I want to see the brand everywhere,” Phillips said. “I want it to be a local neighborhood bakery across the United States. I think there’s a ton of potential and something really unique we are doing there, and I would love to see it grow.”
As of now, Phillips did not reveal exact addresses for the Brooklyn and Manhattan sites.
