Sanmiwago, a family-owned dumpling chain, appears to have another Midtown location in the works, according to its website. A location at 980 Sixth Avenue is listed as “coming soon.”

The Taiwanese restaurant currently has four locations open, including one that recently opened at 64 Seventh Avenue. There is also a location listed as “coming soon” on the website at 62 William Street, though it is listed as “temporarily closed” by Google. At this time, it is unclear what the opening timeline is for that location.

The new Midtown location would mark the sixth for the brand, which launched in 2022. Owner Jeff Liu confirmed with What Now New York that there is another location in the works, though he did not provide further details.

“Our mission has been to provide high-quality dumplings, hot drinks, soups and many more for all those that wish to combine fun and enjoyable ambiance with skillful cooking into one extraordinary dining experience,” the Sanmiwago website states.

As of now, opening timelines are unclear for the yet-to-open locations.
