French restaurant and bar La Royale is heading to 205 Thompson Street in Greenwich Village.
The design and menu will offer nods to French restaurants around the globe, featuring items like escargots, sea bass, French wines and cocktails, according to reporting by Eater NY. The two-story building will feature a bar on the first floor with green leather booths and an emerald marble bar, and a main dining room on the second floor.
Owner Cody Pruitt confirmed the new restaurant with What Now New York. Pruitt is not new to the New York restaurant scene. He is also behind French restaurant Libertine located at 684 Greenwich Street.
La Royale is expected to open this coming spring.
