Bar Billymark’s West closed last June after a 68 year run at 332 Ninth Avenue. Now, veteran bar operator Michael Zieleniewski is looking to bring the space back to life.

Zieleniewski has filed paperwork for a liquor license at the address. Attached documents indicate that he plans to revitalize Billymark’s West and keep the space as a neighborhood bar rather than introducing a new concept.

The ground-floor space will have seven tables that will seat 14 and one bar that will seat 20. The proposed menu includes items like chicken wings, mozzarella sticks, quesadillas and burgers, and the proposed hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4 a.m. daily, with a 10 a.m. opening time on Sundays.

Zieleniewski is not new to operating neighborhood bars. He also owns and operates MacDougal Street Ale House, Barrow Street Ale House, Tavern on Reade and SoHo Room.

As of now, an opening timeline remains unclear.

What Now New York could not obtain further details from Zieleniewski prior to publication.
