Soho Live, Manhattan’s new music venue, will officially open its doors beneath Live Axe at 94 Lafayette Street on Friday, March 7th. Owner Zac Segal is ready to offer the live music experience. Located in the heart of downtown Manhattan, Soho Live will bring entertainment to a dynamic, immersive, underground setting where music lovers can enjoy both intimate shows from emerging artists and larger-than-life performances from known musicians.
Soho Live promises a cutting-edge atmosphere that blends top-tier sound, cocktails, and exclusive VIP areas. This new venue is resurrecting live music at the very location that once housed the legendary Santos Party House. For the first time in years, this space will come alive again with a fresh twist, combining adrenaline-pumping activities like axe-throwing in the 10,000-square-foot upstairs area and a rage room with a world-class concert hall downstairs spanning 4,500 square feet. The decor is a blend of edgy and iconic NYC with concrete, graffiti, and industrial light fixtures.
“As a live music fan, I wanted to create a space that combines high-end hospitality with stellar sound. I made it my mission to not solely serve one genre of music at Soho Live, but to serve a global audience with a wide-spectrum of acts to offer something for everyone,” said Soho Live owner Zac Segal in a statement.
Soho Live will offer a unique combination of live music, luxury and excitement. Guests can sip craft cocktails, enjoy a round of axe throwing and catch performances.
Soho Live will host headlining performances by celebrated artists. Hip-hop legend Masta Killa of Wu-Tang Clan will debut new material in an intimate and exclusive live set. Isa Blues will take the stage on March 21st, Mags + Covey will headline on May 3rd and Pat Byrne will perform on May 7th.
