On the heels of opening a location on Poplar Avenue, the Sunrise Memphis team is already plotting a third location, Co-Founder Craig Blondis Monday told What Now Memphis.
Although a deal is nowhere done, Blondis said he and his team are scouting Olive Branch, Mississippi, for the newest location of the growing breakfast chain which would be the third outpost for Sunrise.
Blondis, who co-founded Central BBQ, is making expanding Sunrise Memphis his latest focus having sold a majority of Central BBQ to Kemmons Wilson Companies, the restaurateur said.
Sunrise has two existing locations, the aforementioned Poplar Avenue outpost and the OG location at 670 Jefferson Ave.
Blondis is joined by Co-Founders Roger Sapp and Chef Ryan Trimm in expanding the breakfast chain which got its start in 2017, according to the restaurant’s website.
Sunrise Memphis bills itself as “an eclectic diner specializing in classic breakfast favorites and house prepared artisan meats,” the restaurant’s website notes. “The trio have plans to widen their already strong restaurant portfolio in the near future.”
