A new café will soon bring lattes, pastries, and more to Byhalia, Mississippi.
The Bean on Brunswick, located at 40 E Brunswick St, Suite A, is gearing up to open its doors, as confirmed by its Facebook and Google Business pages.
Offering a fresh dining experience, the café will serve coffee, grab-and-go meals, fruit bowls, smoothies, and baked goods. The recently unveiled menu features cheesecake, frappuccinos, hot chocolate, avocado toast, Belgian waffles, and a variety of caffeinated beverages.
To elevate their offerings, owners Kelly and Lori Crane have partnered with a Memphis-based micro-coffee roaster known for exceptional brews. “We loved them, the reviewers love them and best of all, we are supporting LOCAL! More to come…” the café shared on Facebook.
Lori told What Now Memphis that she and her husband purchased the historic duplex last year and are currently remodeling the space. Though they’re updating the property, they’ve preserved the original wood accents, maintaining the building’s unique charm and character.
“I’m very excited to bring quality coffee and some great health options to Byhalia,” said Lori. “As a homeschool mom, self-employed medical biller, and property manager it will truly be an act of love and service for our community!”
The Bean on Brunswick is currently hiring a barista/smoothie mixer, with construction underway and an opening slated for December 1, 2024. The café plans to expand into lunch hours in the future.
