CraftWay Kitchen first opened in 2019. And after only three short, but very successful years, its owners are planning a second location in Frisco with a tentative opening date of February/March 2022. That’s saying a lot, especially since the restaurant had to navigate through the uncertainties and challenges of COVID-19 almost immediately.

While the pandemic saw many restaurants temporarily or permanently shut down, CraftWay somehow managed to thrive. And in May, it made Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat in Texas for 2021 List.

Created by Troy Cooper and Mike Hutchinson, the American tavern concept features great food with a weekend brunch and a full bar with premium cocktails, including their popular frozen old fashioned.

Menu items include soups and salads, sandwiches, and entrees like ahi tuna and chicken Milanese.

Construction has already begun on the new Frisco location which will be at 5729 Lebanon Road, Ste. 100.

“We’re excited to bring CraftWay Kitchen to Frisco,” Hutchinson says. “We’ve been looking for the perfect spot to open in Frisco for some time, and we plan to become a real fixture for the nearby Starwood neighborhood.”
