Olive Garden will soon take over a former Furr’s restaurant in Garland. According to a recent project filing, the nearly 12,700-square-foot space at 1540 Eastgate Dr. in Garland will undergo some renovations before the new Olive Garden can open to the public.
The restaurant is well-known for its menu of Italian classics including Fettuccine Alfredo, Lasagna Classico, and Tour of Italy. Diners who order an adult entrée enjoy never-ending breadsticks and a choice of salad or soup.
You can also choose to create your own pasta or pick from a list of other entrees including Herb-Grilled Salmon. A full bar offers cocktails, wine, and beer.
Construction could wrap up sometime in late spring, but there is no official word on when the new Garland Olive Garden might begin serving diners. Olive Garden, a division of Darden Restaurants, Inc., has more than 800 locations across the U.S.
