One-of-a-kind Czech beers are coming to Denver. Cohesion Brewing Co. will be brewing and serving lagers in the Clayton neighborhood right on 3851 Steele St.

What sets this brewery apart from others is that the beers will be organized according to Czech tradition, based on color rather than style. The beers are categorized as pale, half-dark or dark. An example from their official Facebook page includes: “One of the Czech beer styles with the most notoriety would certainly be the světlý ležák, translated as Pale Lager.”

Husband and wife duo Eric and Lisa Larkin run the show. “While Eric has loved Czech style beers since his time brewing classic styles with Zero Gravity Brewing , both of us fell in love with Czech beer on our honeymoon in Prague,” writes the couple on the official Facebook page. “The attention to detail, rich history, commitment to local raw materials, refined styles, and strong brewing techniques drew us in from the first sip.” We’re excited to experience the Czech beer culture in Denver.
