A new grocery store could be coming to northeast Denver, with One Plus One Asian Market Place planned as part of a retail development near Denver International Airport.
The proposed supermarket would be part of Tower Plaza, a planned retail and hospitality development near East 64th Avenue and Yampa Street. According to Denverite, the project is expected to include the grocery store alongside two restaurants, Hot Pot Spot and Pho 99.
The development is planned for a site at approximately 18200 E. 64th Avenue in Denver. The four-acre property was purchased for $3.4 million, according to the news publication.
While details about the supermarket’s planned layout and opening timeline remain limited, the project is expected to bring another option for shoppers seeking Asian groceries and specialty food products in the area.
The proposed development is also expected to include Hot Pot Spot and Pho 99, adding restaurant options alongside the supermarket. The combination would create a destination for grocery shopping and dining near the airport, serving residents in the surrounding communities as well as travelers and workers in the area.
The project remains in the planning stages, with completion expected by 2028. Further details about One Plus One’s store format, product selection and the restaurants’ operators have not yet been announced.
