Brothers BBQ Moving Into Fort Collins

Back in 1998, two brothers, Chris and Nick O’Sullivan, came together to open Brothers BBQ.

Now, 23 years later, they’re getting ready to open their eighth location at 501 S Taft Hill Road in Fort Collins.

The brothers were originally from England but raised in Denver, according to the website. They traveled across the US to sample different styles of BBQ sauce before they opened their first shop. At the time, Nick raced cars professionally, and as he traveled across the country, the brothers would stop at all the local BBQ joints they could find.

The result of Brothers BBQ was a mixture of putting together the memories from their adventures and creating their own style of Colorado BBQ.

The journey for the new location, which is going inside a former gas station, has been a long one, seeing as how it was originally announced in the Coloradan at the beginning of 2020.

As of now, no official opening date has been set. The website still lists the location as Coming Soon, with an end of September date still at the forefront.

What Now Denver reached out to Nick O’Sullivan for further information, but he was unavailable by phone at the time of publication.

Update: A previous version of this story stated the restaurant was coming to Colorado Springs, when it is in fact Fort Collins.
