More pizza options are coming to Monument, with word that a brand new Pizza Hut location is currently under construction at 15932 Jackson Creek Pkwy, Suite F. The space is in a shopping plaza with other popular retailers like Supercuts, RE/MAX, and Rodolfo’s Mexican Grill.

This is the city’s first location of the chain, and is being opened by Grand Mere Restaurant Group, a Pizza Hut franchisee with more than 130 stores in nine states. Grand Mere Restaurant Group. Monica Smith, vice president of real estate for the group, told What Now Denver that the spot should be expected to open in June.

Construction on the space started about three months ago, and the Pizza Hut sign went up in March. It is a traditional Pizza Hut “Delco” model, which is a carryout and delivery concept only. There will be no dine-in seating available at the Monument store.

The chain has been focusing heavily on its “Delco” stores and shying away from a sit-down dining space in recent years. It’s the largest pizza company on the planet, with more than 19,000 locations worldwide.

  • Thanks for the article. This is technically not the first Pizza Hut in Monument. We had one for years in the strip mall by Safeway on Highway 105. But after a Pizza Hut was opened near Flying Horse at the Sprouts mall on Voyager/Northgate they closed the Monument Pizza Hut thinking people would go down there.

Unfortunately, as the Safeway Pizza Hut brought in lots of foot traffic the loss of that business also caused two nearby businesses to close up shop.
