The first location of Snooze, an A.M. Eatery will be undergoing major changes, with an expansion planned for the spot at 2262 Larimer St. City records show the business is taking over the space next door and making the restaurant larger.

An electrical permit was filed this week for the project and states that the scope of work involves demolition and construction to combine the two properties, which share a roof. The business next door was formerly The Barre Code Downtown Denver, which closed in 2021.

The Larimer Snooze, located in the Ballpark district just blocks from Coor’s Field, was the first of the chain to be opened by brothers Adam and Jon Schlegel. The company started in 2006 and has quickly grown to a popular brunch spot in multiple states.

The brand donates 1% of sales back to the community, and values composting, recycling, and sustainably-sourced foods. Its restaurants are open seven days a week.
