A historic grain storage facility in Longmont is undergoing a significant redevelopment to become a bustling food hall and creative space. The downtown facility, at 320 2nd Ave., is currently listed as “under construction” on the city website.

Scheduled to open in early 2025, The Granary is part of a renovation project, led by Mass Equities Inc. The redevelopment will transform the structure into a three-story complex, with a ground-floor food hall and the upper floors offering flexible office space.

Its first floor will house four distinct cuisines and walk-up windows for smaller eateries. An outdoor plaza will provide additional space for dining and community events. The property will also feature a surface parking lot with 18 spaces.

The Granary project represents a $13.5 million investment, with $4 million in funding sourced from owner equity and $9.5 million in commercial bank loans. The development has also received a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and Facade Renovation grant from the Longmont Downtown Development Authority (LDDA).
