A locally-owned ice cream shop is expanding to Hermitage. According to a new business application filed with the Davidson County Clerk’s Office, La Super Michoacána is expanding with its third location at 4038 Lebanon Pike. It’s expected to open within a few months, however, an exact opening date is forthcoming.
The authentic dessert shop specializes in from-scratch ingredients and unique flavors from the state of Michoacána, Mexico. “From a wide variety of ice cream flavors, to the different snacks we create, we are honored to serve you and your family. If you’re looking for something sweet, something spicy, or something savory, you can find it here at La Super Michoacána,” states the businesses’ website.
La Super Michoacána’s Facebook page shows colorful and diverse menu offerings, ranging from sweet and salty mangonadas, corn-based elote, multiple ice cream flavors, savory crepes, and chicharrons.
Behind the helm of La Super Michoacana is founder Karina Alonso, who also owns and operates the businesses’ other locations inside Plaza Mariachi at 3919 Nolensville Pk and in La Vergne at 590 Waldron Rd. What Now Nashville receached out to Alonso for additional details but did not immediately hear back by the time of publication.
