Murfreesboro continues to become a leading market for expanding restaurants and retail brands looking for a desirable Nashville suburb to call home.
Neighbors, a popular sports bar owned by former Tennesee Titan Zach Piller and his wife Victoria Piller, will open a 4,182-square-foot Murfreesboro location as part of the Clari Park Development along Roby Corlew Lane according to local news site boropulse.com. An exact address and opening timeline is forthcoming.
As a sports bar with an energetic environment and classic American bites, Neighbors often hosts events like trivia and karaoke, adding to its reputation as a true neighborhood bar. Neighbors first opened in 2011 in Sylvan Park out of a 700 square feet space that was once shared with Victoria’s hair salon at the time. Serving up a small menu to match the small venue, Neighbors offered just six beers on tap and a kitchen that was so small that they had to smoke chicken wings and brisket in the back parking lot, according to the Neighbors website.
Last year, What Now Nashville reported news of Neighbors opening a location in The Gulch, which recently opened eight weeks ago. The brand is strategically expanding in Nashville neighborhoods and suburbs that would fit its vibe best, with Murfreesboro being its next smart move. The brand currently operates four locations in The Gulch, Sylvan Park, Germantown, and Franklin.
Neighbors serves up house-smoked meats, nachos, soups, sandwiches, wraps, and burgers with operating between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. Stay tuned for additional updates on Neighbor’s website, Instagram and Facebook pages.
