McCallum & Sons Whisky Co., a Washington-based boutique whiskey and spirits company, appears to be seeking expansion to Nashville, according to recently filed beer board permits.

It is eyeing a space at the Prima building at Paseo South Gulch at 620 Eighth Ave. S.

McCallum & Sons Whisky Co., owned by Glen and Maxine McCallum, currently has one location in downtown Tacoma, Washington. It carries whiskey and spirits, some worth more than $20,000 per bottle, such as its Macallan Fine and Rare bottles.

“We are passionate about spirits, knowledgeable about our inventory and will help you find the perfect bottle,” their website reads. “Come see us for all of your needs regarding whisky and spirits.”

It appears that the shop also holds tastings, according to customer experiences online.

As of now, an opening timeline has not been released, and it is unclear if the Nashville concept will have any differences compared to the Tacoma location.

What Now Nashville has reached out to McCallum & Sons Whisky Co. for more information but has yet to receive a response. Stay tuned for updates on this location.
