Australia-based Ministry of Coffee is opening not one but two new Los Angeles cafés in early-2020 bringing its total number of U.S. locations to three.

Joining the City’s original Westwood outpost—which debuted in 2017 as the first stateside location—will be Ministry of Coffee storefronts in DTLA and on the University of Southern California (USC) campus, Co-Owner Sean Wilson in an email Sunday confirmed with What Now Los Angeles (WNLA).

Wilson did not immediately respond to WNLA’s request for comment.

In DTLA, the Australian café experience will take residence on the ground-level of the TCW Tower, at 865 S. Figueroa Street.

Ministry of Coffee will be situated in the building’s lobby near the northeast entrance fronting Figueroa Street.

As for the USC campus, Wilson did not immediately disclose the exact location.

It won’t, however, be situated in the USC Village, the university’s primary retail center, according to leasing rep Bridget McGarey.

“We are not working on a deal with Ministry of Coffee at USC Village,” McGarey told WNLA Friday.

“We have two other coffee tenants (Dulce & Starbucks) already open and operating there.”

Founded in 2014 with locations in Sydney and Istanbul, Ministry of Coffee touts itself as a “boutique café experience delivering exceptional coffee and delicious food” utilizing “ancient Turkish coffee rituals and culture.”

Each location roasts and blends its own beans, according to the company’s website.

Its health-conscious eats are created from organic, in-season, and local ingredients “when possible” to “create tantalizing meal options that won’t break the bank or the waistline.”
