That familiar mouthwatering scent of Nashville hot chicken will lead you to Smokin Jay’s, except soon your destination will be a 1,243 square foot restaurant.
The sought-after food truck will be pulling into 430 W Wooley Road in Oxnard. Smokin Jay’s Restaurant will most certainly lure in every human (and meat-eater) within a five-mile radius as long as his sense of smell has not been completely obliterated by allergies.
Smokin Jay’s Nashville Hot Chicken Sandos and Jack’d fries were meant to be chowed down. Soon you will be able to sit amongst your friends and family as they watch you wrestle with a Dos Manos Burrito, undo that jean button, and lean back into your chair, proud and satisfied.
Although Smokin Jay’s has not officially announced its opening day, we know owner Jay Hernandez has the keys from his Instagram post just over a week ago: “It’s official we got the keys . 🔑 coming soon to 430 w wooley road. it’s the closest we could get to 420.”
