Clutch Coffee Bar has plans to open several new locations in the Charlotte area, starting with a new site in Rock Hill at 2027 Celanese Rd.

The company’s seventh location recently opened, offering free 16-ounce drinks all day for the grand opening, according to Charlotte Business Journal. This location was the debut of the company’s first-ever drive-through location. Clutch Coffee Bar plans to open new locations in Indian Trail and Indian Land early next year. Founders Darren Spicer, John Anderson, and Jake Vandermeer launched the company in 2018 in Mooresville.

When these two new locations open, customers can expect various energy drink and coffee options, including a Seattle-based award-winning espresso blend. Clutch Coffee Bar has classic and high-end coffee options like lattes, nitro cold brews, and Italian sodas. Some food options include breakfast sandwiches, biscuits, and other pastries, such as muffins and almond butter oat bars. Clutch Coffee Bar also has a charity program called Clutch Cares, which hosts fundraising for Northwestern High School, with all the proceeds going to support local education initiatives.

“Charlotte is growing like crazy, and we feel it is highly underserved from a drive-through coffee and energy drink perspective,” Spicer tells the Charlotte Business Journal. “[Customers can expect] an incredible experience from the moment you arrive until the second you leave.”
