Father-son duo Omar and Brandon Melendez are preparing to launch their new venture, Rose Boston Bar and Restaurant, at 387 Chelsea St next weekend. The establishment will fill the space left vacant by the closure of Jeveli’s, the cherished Italian restaurant that shut its doors at the onset of the 2020 pandemic.

Rose promises a distinctive and exclusive atmosphere, providing a refined setting for patrons to indulge in tapas and wine. As the evening unfolds, the ambiance is expected to gain momentum, with the restaurant’s doors remaining open until 2 a.m. Additionally, Brandon shared that Rose will have four separate themed rooms, each adorned with abstract art, creating a moody and evocative atmosphere.

The rotating menu will showcase international tapas designed to unite diverse culinary traditions, as well as an array of inventive cocktails. While it’s a departure from Jeveli’s, Rose will pay homage to the Italian restaurant’s legacy by reintroducing four items from the former menu, this time with a unique tapas twist.

With the grand opening slated for the end of the month, the Melendez family is poised to introduce a fresh and exciting concept to East Boston’s dining scene.
