The Cookie Monstah is expanding its presence with a new location, marking the seventh brick-and-mortar addition to its sugary empire. Nestled inside the Trio building at 845 Washington St in Newtonville, the cookie shop has just signed a lease for a 1,000-square-foot space, according to a recent Newton Real Estate Facebook post.
In addition to its physical storefronts, The Cookie Monstah boasts a fleet of six mobile trucks, one of which is available for rent year-round. Under the vision and expertise of owner Melissa “Missy” Gale, who has dedicated the greater part of her life to baking, the venture took off over a decade ago with the inception of the original cookie truck. Its rapid success set the stage for the brand’s continued expansion.
The crumbly offerings at The Cookie Monstah range from timeless classics like Chocolate Chip to more inventive creations like Reese’s Double Chocolate. Additionally, the shop often serves Richardson’s cow-to-cone farm-fresh ice cream sandwiched between two cookies.
For those eager to stay in the loop, anticipate updates as The Cookie Monstah sweetens its story with this tasty new bake shop.
