Mighty Squirrel Brewing Unveils Plans for Fenway Expansion

Waltham’s Mighty Squirrel Brewing Co. is expanding its footprint to Fenway at 1 David Ortiz Dr, just a stone throw’s away from Fenway Park. In a recent Instagram post, the brewery revealed that the new space will span an impressive 13,000 square feet, equipped with the capability to brew over 1,000 barrels of beer thanks to a 10-barrel brewhouse.

Founded by co-owners and brewers Naveen Pawar and Henry Manice, Mighty Squirrel Brewing first opened its original taproom in 2018. The impressive space quickly gained popularity with its wide range of craft beers, including flavors such as Cloud Candy and Strawberry Sour Face.

According to details presented at a recent licensing board hearing, the forthcoming brewery will occupy the ground and second floors of an eight-story building. The first floor will include a brewery, a taproom with 128 seats, a spacious kitchen, and two restrooms. Ascending to the second floor, visitors will be greeted by another taproom and lounge featuring 122 seats, a smaller kitchen, and two additional restrooms.
