Boston’s Chinatown to Welcome Fuchunju Restaurant

Boston will soon welcome Chinese restaurant Fuchunju, the newest addition to Chinatown’s culinary landscape. Nestled in the former Gourmet China House location at 55 Beach St, the restaurant is set to delight patrons with dishes akin to steamed dim sum, as revealed by partner Pengju Li.

Operating under the LLC of Jiangnan Style Restaurant—which is also affiliated with Tremont St’s upscale JiangNan Boston—an opening date for the upcoming establishment has not yet been revealed. Currently in the hiring phase, a sign on the building invites applicants to call 347-429-2400 for information about roles ranging from dishwasher and kitchen helper to wok cook, pastry cook, and fry cook.
