Wine afficionados of Leesburg, rejoice! One of the DMV region’s top wineries has big plans for an historic bank building. Stone Tower Winery is bringing a wine tasting lounge to the region, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The venerable Virginia winery has purchased a building located at 1 East Market Street. The establishment, owned and operated by the Huber family, intends to dedicate a portion of the building, which formerly housed Primis Bank, to creating a cozy and welcoming tasting lounge.

The tasting lounge does not have an official name or opening date. However, the Hubers are hoping to open their doors and decant their wines in fall of 2024.

The Stone Tower Winery website clarifies the brands purpose, stating: “Combined with steep slopes and constant airflow, these soils give our vines the ‘struggle’ necessary to produce concentrated, intensely flavored grapes for our premium estate wines.
