Traditional hot teas aren’t the only thing brewing in Phinney Ridge as a soon-to-be boba tea spot, Phinney Bubble Tea gears up to open its doors at 6015 Phinney Ave N, inside the Roycroft Condominium complex, according to recent permit filings.

Phinney Bubble Tea’s owner was unable to immediately comment on this story when contacted by What Now Seattle.

While the exact opening date is yet to be determined, Phinney Bubble Tea will likely aim to offer a wide array of tantalizing options for patrons to choose from. From classic milk teas to refreshing fruit teas, and everything in between, there should be something to satisfy every patron’s palate.

While bubble tea has long enjoyed popularity across Asia, the drink has likewise been catching on in the West in recent years. Its highly customizable variations – which includes various teas, tapioca pearls, and toppings – and unique packaging have given rise to successful chains and franchises, such as the New York-based Kung Fu Tea, Gong Cha out of Taiwan, and Malaysia’s DaBoba.
