According to a recent permit filing, Gary’s Place has filed for a location near Alki Beach Park at 2820 Alki Avenue SW.

A representative of Gary’s Place was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Seattle’s request.

While an official opening date and what Gary’s Place plans to offer have yet to be confirmed, Gary’s Place was filed under West Seattle Arcade LLC according to the permit.

Washington Company Search states that West Seattle Arcade LLC was incorporated on September 6th, 2022. Elyssa and Matthew Cichy are on the LLC and permit filing.

According to an article from Westside Seattle, “The West Seattle Arcade, which opened last July is already expanding into a second space one block up the beach at 2820 Alki Ave SW. They will be opening their sister location, Gary’s Place, (named for owner Matt Cichy’s dad who owned and operated arcades around Seattle in the 80’s, 90’s, and early 2000’s).”

“Gary’s Place will allow offering even more to customers. They will be serving beer and snacks, along with an offering of some more classic arcade machines, more rhythm games, and a slightly more grown-up atmosphere.”

“As an extension of the West Seattle Arcade, Gary’s Place will be all ages, and accept the same Play Cards that they currently use.”
