Arkansas-based Vapor World has plans to open its first Georgia store in Tucker.
The e-cigarette retailer over the weekend posted an advertisement on Craigslist looking to fill “several” available positions at the forthcoming shop.
“We’ve researched many cities and we think Atlanta has a need that we could fill,” Sam Counts, Vapor World’s district manager, told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a telephone conversation Monday.
“[Atlanta] doesn’t have any vape shops like what we can provide.”
Vapor World should open in Tucker July 1 “but it’s probably more likely to be July 15,” according to Counts.
“Atlanta is large enough that we can open five to ten additional stores. I’ve been down there three times this year scouting locations.”
Vapor World currently has 15 locations across five states. Counts would not disclose the exact location of the soon-to-open Tucker store.
