Starbucks is on a caffeine-high in Atlanta.

The American global coffee company and coffeehouse chain this week filed plans with City of Atlanta to open a Buckhead location and renovate two existing stores.

Starbucks’s new store will replace the now-shuttered Amura (formerly MF Sushi) in suite 110 of the Terminus 100 Building, at 3280 Peachtree Road.

An estimated $300,000 will be spent building out the coffee shop in space the previously occupied two sushi restaurants.

Permits this week were also filed to renovate two existing Starbucks coffee shops.

The CNN Center “Starbucks Kiosk” is slated for a $350,000 remodel, at 190 Marietta Street, and the Peachtree Piedmont Cross Shopping Center Starbucks, at 3330 Piedmont Road, is looking at $90,000 in upgrades.
