Round Table Pizza, a national pizza chain known for “time-honored recipes, hand-rolled dough, homemade tomato sauce, and toppings piled to the edge,” is expanding in San Antonio.

According to a recent permit application, the franchise is planning to open an outpost at 11040 I-10 — a space formerly home to Berifang — where it will neighbor establishments such as Bill Miller BBQ, the breakfast restaurant Snooze, and Umiya Sushi.

What Now San Antonio spoke briefly with the district manager at Brame Brands, Jorge Guglietta, but he could not provide additional information before the time of publication.

Additionally, the filing offers further insight, disclosing that construction began in late January and is slated to be completed on April 30.

Described as the “2nd gen quick serve pizzeria interior finish out” of an existing 3,012-square-foot building, the project will be carried out by local firm Galson Inc. for an estimated $225,000.

An opening date has not been announced yet. Stay tuned for updates.
