According to Culture Map, San Antonio’s BOSS Bagels is expanding to Cibolo — gearing up to debut a new outpost at Cibolo Valley Drive and Borgfeld Road, near establishments such as Buffalo Wild Wings, Jersey Mike’s Subs, and P. Terry’s.
The business is currently crowdfunding to support the preparation of the shop, sharing on its website, “With a little help from our friends, we want to make our new shop in CIBOLO as warm, wonderful & welcoming as possible. We’re thrilled about building this new BOSS from scratch, but it’s definitely a HUGE undertaking, so every little bit will help!”
“We know you come from Boerne and New Braunfels and from all over San Antonio, asking us to open in your neighborhood,” says Co-owner Katie Yeargan in a video encouraging patrons to contribute to the campaign.
For readers who are unfamiliar with BOSS Bagels, the eatery offers a brief introduction on its website: “We blend the classic taste and texture of New York bagels with the sweet, smokey flavors of bagels from Montreal, where wood-burning ovens like ours have been an essential part of bagel baking for over 100 years.”
The concept currently operates two locations in San Antonio, one at 6458 N. New Braunfels Avenue and the other at the San Antonio International Airport.
BOSS Bagels in Cibolo is slated to open later this year. Stay tuned for updates.
