From the founders of Flight Club, Electric Shuffle, the hospitality group on a mission to amplify the moments we share together through immersive games, cocktails, bar fare, and vibes, will officially open their doors in the heart of River North on May 2, 2025.

Located at 488 N La Salle Dr, the 7,000-square-foot venue is the perfect setting to eat, drink, party and play, and features 11 custom shuffleboard tables, a retro-style bar and plenty of dining space. The interior design sets the stage for lively group reservations as well as event spaces designed for 15 to 250 guests.

“After years of searching, we’re thrilled to find our first Chicago home in River North,” shared Gene Ball, President of Electric Shuffle U.S. in a statement. “Chicago’s unparalleled hospitality scene presents an incredible opportunity, and we’re proud to introduce a truly unique destination downtown. We created Electric Shuffle to be a place where friends and colleagues can come together whether it’s for a casual happy-hour drink, grabbing brunch on the weekend, team event, or a game night with friends.”

Electric Shuffle has saved shuffleboard from the back of the bar by placing a contemporary and high-tech spin on this fan-favorite game. Cutting-edge camera vision technology (literally created by a rocket scientist) tracks every puck, keeps score, and seamlessly integrates 15 players per table into a variety of head-to-head games delivering a fun and thrilling experience for the whole group.

Classic shuffleboard reservations are available for 90-minute rentals where guests can order and enjoy food and drinks directly at the custom-built boards while they play.

For bigger events and company outings, the tables can be linked together allowing 15 to 250 people to compete in tournament-style gameplay with live leaderboards across the venue paired with customizable food and drink packages.

At the core of Electric Shuffle’s experience is a full menu of dishes and cocktails delivered by a full-service kitchen and bar program. Guests can indulge in craft cocktails like the iconic Spicy Lucy Margarita, a perfect blend of house-infused jalapeno tequila and refreshing citrus, or the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini, featuring vanilla-infused vodka, espresso, coffee liqueur, and salted caramel for a bold and energizing kick.

Electric Shuffle’s menu features an array of bites perfect for sharing and keeping the energy high between rounds. Guests can complement their drink of choice with dishes like Truffle Parm Fries, Loaded Sampler Platters, House-Made Boneless Wings, Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza, and plenty of vegan and vegetarian-friendly options.

Electric Shuffle’s Happy Hour runs Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., guests can enjoy $10 espresso martinis, ranch waters, margaritas, and pizzas, as well as $5 beer, wine, seltzers, and fries.

Meant for large groups of friends, Electric Shuffle’s all-inclusive weekend packages includes the ability eat, drink, and play for one all-in price.

Brunch Social is available every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., where guests enjoy their own bottle of prosecco per person (no more watered-down mimosas) and a delicious family-style spread of brunch boards and pizza for just $55 a person.

Shuffle Social is the perfect way to keep the fun rolling every weekend from 3 p.m. to close. For $65 per person, enjoy 90 minutes of shuffleboard, live DJs, and three drink tickets to use on cocktails, liquor, beer, or wine. The experience is rounded out with family-style shareables and small plates.
