Bar food and ice cold drinks will be on the menu at this restaurant under construction in the village.
Rookies Pub & Grill is entering a new chapter with another location coming to 1416 N Roselle Road in Schaumburg. This is the eighth Rookies location from Bob Karas and his restaurant group. An opening date hasn’t been set, but construction at the building is well underway.
The first Rookies debuted in 1996 in St. Charles, and has since been serving up pub-style food like wings, tenders, burgers, fries and appetizers. Of course the concept is known for the many drink options, like domestic and craft beers, cocktails and wines. The team now operates locations in Crystal Lake, Elgin, Geneva, Hoffman Estates, Huntley and Roselle.
“The countdown is ON, and we can’t wait to welcome you through our doors!” Says a recent post on their Facebook page.
The plaza is at the intersection of Remington Circle, and also at the building are a Subway, Plato’s Closet used clothing store and Once Upon A Child. This is a very commercial area of Schaumburg, with many other restaurants and businesses nearby. It is also a short drive west of Woodfield Mall.
What Now Chicago is awaiting comment from Karas and co-owner Mike Maridis. For more information on the chain, visit their website.
