Coffee machines will be moving into yet another 7 Brew in the Chicago area.
The franchise Who Brew has found another area to set up shop, this time in Elgin. From The Daily Herald, Elgin council has approved a site plan for 1039-1047 Summit Street. An opening date has not been set as the project isn’t under construction yet.
The Arkansas-based drive-thru coffee concept has been expanding in the Midwest in the last few years. Who Brew is one of the major franchisers, previously opening locations in Lake Zurich, Tinley Park, Crystal Lake, Grayslake and Bloomingdale.
Fans of 7 Brew know what to expect with the menu, which includes hot and cold brew coffees, energy drinks, fizz drinks which have sparkling water infused in flavors and topped with cream, teas, lemonades and shakes. Teas, matchas and chai are also popular options.
The proposed site is on the south side of Summit Street, across from a Jewel-Osco and Anytime Fitness. Other chains in the area include Taco Bell, Chicago Pizza Authority and Subway. This is a 10-minute drive northeast of downtown Elgin.
What Now Chicago is awaiting comment from Who Brew representatives on the new location. More information on new 7 Brew locations can be found on the franchise’s website.
