A men’s salon that provides a range of services focused on self-care is coming to Marietta.
Hammer & Nails is planned for The Avenue West Cobb. The 1,868-square-foot space will be located between Queen Tea and Dress Up. It is expected to open this summer.
Hammer & Nails offers premium haircuts, beard trimming, hand and foot care, and more, aiming to provide a “grooming experience that tends to the whole man.” There is currently one location in Georgia, located in Midtown Atlanta. The concept is also planned for Chamblee and Suwanee.
“Usually when males go to a salon, they just get a haircut or something hot on their face. But these are very high-end services, from manicures to pedicures to facials to haircuts to beard grooming,” said Eric Allen, general manager of the upcoming salon.
He is looking forward to bringing a self-care experience for men to the area.
“It was a need there, a place where people can go and have great service,” he told What Now Atlanta. “It’s like a man cave too. A lot of men want to experience that, to get away from everything and have a good experience and relax.”
Allen, who has been in the hospitality industry for 20 years, is particularly excited that the business is opening at The Avenue West Cobb.
“I love the West Cobb area,” he said. “I just moved to this area and I’m having a great experience here. I’ll probably be here for a couple of years with this wonderful franchise.”
Hammer & Nails is one of three tenants coming soon to the open-air shopping center in Marietta. BLENDED Smoothie & Juice Bar and BODYBAR Pilates are also expected to debut there this summer.
“With summer growing closer by the day, we’re excited to welcome three new retailers adding to the many shopping, dining and entertainment offerings guests can experience at The Avenue West Cobb,” John Liu, general manager at The Avenue West Cobb, said in a statement. “Whether they’re grabbing a healthy beverage on the go, stopping by for a pilates class or getting a fresh new look for summer, each tenant offers something different to our local community. We look forward to seeing the positive impact that these new tenants will have on the overall visitor experience for our guests.”
Look out for more growth of Hammer & Nails in the Peach State.
“I hope to open more locations around Georgia, maybe two or three more,” Allen said.
