HB – New York’s newest nightlife hotspot – will officially open by June 2025. Perched atop a 37th floor Penthouse in Midtown Manhattan, the new sky bar concept has panoramic views of Manhattan, indoor and al fresco rooftop seating areas, handcrafted cocktails, and a menu of shareable plates in a sleek yet convivial atmosphere. HB is located at 346 West 40th Street on the 37th Floor.
From the Promise Hospitality team, HB plans to be a destination for locals and visitors alike. The dramatic glass-enclosed 4,000 square foot space has 17-foot floor-to-ceiling windows 37 stories above Times Square.
Outdoor garden seating provides guests with another stunning vantage point to enjoy 270 degree views of the Manhattan skyline. HB features custom laser-cut mercury mirror brick wall, chainmail columns and walnut herringbone-and-polished cement floors.
Modern interpretations of classic cocktails come courtesy of mixologist David Choi, who drew inspiration from the bar’s open sky and lion’s view. Signatures include the Avión De Papel with Illegal mezcal, Mijenta Reposado tequila, Aperol, Amaro Montenegro, fresh lemon juice, and agave; Sakura Sour with Japanese whisky, lemon juice, cherry blossom syrup, and egg whites; Garden of Olympus with rhum agricole, lime juice, demerara syrup, basil, and mixed berries; zero-proof Yuz A Lyre with yuzu juice, elderflower, honey syrups and Lyre’s dry London spirit.
Helmed by Grand Street Pizza co-owner Chef Pietro Aletto, HB offers a seasonal small plate menu which channels the spirit of Mediterranean aperitivo culture with a Gotham twist.
