A busy DMV-area hospitality group is preparing to perform the old switcheroo with two of its concepts. An Ashburn Social House Kitchen & Tap is scheduled to become a Makers Union later this summer, reports local media outlet The Burn.
The real estate currently in flux is located at 42841 Creek View Plaza Suite 145, in the Goose Creek Village shopping center. Thompson Restaurants, the hospitality group behind both concepts, has not yet announced an official date for the changeover. However, Thompson is hoping to turn Social House into Makers Union in early July.
Makers Union is no stranger to the greater DMV area. The concept currently has 3 locations open and serving delighted customers-one in Arlington, another in Reston, and a third at the Wharf in DC.
Ashburn diners can look forward to sampling from an incredibly diverse menu full of delicious and unexpected choices. A modest sampling of potential meals includes the Nashville hot chicken bowl, the fried cod sandwich, alfredo pasta, and Moroccan-style “Impossible” kebabs, among many other varied options.
