La Parma in Williston Park will serve its final meals on July 27. Owners Tony Gralto and Dominic Gregorio shared on Instagram, “After 41 unforgettable years, Dominic and Tony of La Parma Restaurant have made the heartfelt decision to embrace a well-earned semi-retirement.”
Established in 1985, the restaurant called Williston Park its home for nearly 41 years. Tony and Dominic were presented with an offer from an investor who wanted to purchase the space. They accepted the offer and agreed to sell the space.
The Williston Park location has played a significant role in the owners’ lives over the past four decades. They thanked patrons and friends for their support and loyalty through the years.
Continued Operations in Huntington and Oceanside
The owners emphasized that “this is not a goodbye,” as La Parma will continue operating at its other locations. La Parma 2 in Huntington and La Parma 3 in Oceanside will continue to serve customers as usual.
Since opening in 1985, the family-style restaurant was among the first of its kind on Long Island and welcomed numerous TV personalities, athletes, and celebrities. The restaurant featured an open-concept kitchen, allowing guests to watch their meals being prepared.
Farewell from Neighborhood
