Montreux Bar and Grill in Summerville has been sold after 16 years in business. Courtney Page, owner of Page’s Okra Grill, will take over the space on Aug. 4, according to a post on Montreux’s Facebook page.

“It’s hard to tell everyone that has walked in our front door a warm Thank You for your support and friendship. It has been an unexpected but incredible journey that will never be duplicated. We hope you have enjoyed the Food, The Music, The friendships, The joys of all the weddings and the neighborhood feel. A big Thank You to our staff for all the years of service and we wish one and all the best moving forward,” the post read.

The post also said Page will continue to operate the space as Montreux but plans to make changes over time, aiming to “please one and all.”

A new menu is in the works, but the character of the bar and grill will remain.

“The menu will be in the same spirit of the current menu and hopefully we can make some changes and improvements over time as we get to know all the great Montreux guests,” Page’s Okra Grill wrote in a comment on Montreux’s farewell post.

The team will also serve food from 10 p.m. to midnight, a popular request from the community. The live music schedule will be posted soon, and regular weekly events, such as Blues Mondays, will resume with the reopening.

Page owns two Page’s Okra Grill locations in Mount Pleasant and Summerville, as well as a food truck in Moncks Corner.

What Now Charleston reached out to Page for more details but has not yet received a response. This story may be updated.
