A new tenant may be operating in a space at the Portland Art Museum.

Providore LLC recently submitted a liquor license application for 1219 SW Park Avenue under the name Coquelico. It will be owned by Providore Fine Foods, a food and beverage service company with locations around the country. It is set to go somewhere at the Art Museum, and there is no date of opening yet.

Providore operates grocery stores, markets and bakeries around the country, including Little T Baker at 2600 SE Division Street. In the license, it is indicated Coquelico will have a restaurant addition. When contacted, co-owner Kevin de Garmo was not available for comment.

Also at this address was Museum Grounds Cafe, which is now listed as closed. There are no other restaurants at the Portland Art Museum, but close-by establishments include Karam Restaurant and Bar, Behind the Museum Cafe and Safeway Bakery

The house of operation will be 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. everyday, with outdoor hours as well. The inside space will have 50 seats, and 16 outside. There will be no seasonal variation in the operating hours.

As of now, there is no social media or official statement on the restaurant opening in the city.
